VF&Co capitalizes on increased demand in Q1 by expanding team and responsibilities
Menlo Park, Calif., February 22, 2005 Valerie Frederickson & Company, a leading integrated human capital management consulting firm announced today that it has promoted and added key personnel in operations, client services, and consulting. James Fred Holland, the firm’s Principal Consultant who is popularly known by many as "Fred," will play a more prominent role in VF&Co’s operations by overseeing the HR side of the business and continuing our international operations. Valerie Frederickson, says, "James is one of the most experienced and respected global HR leaders in Silicon Valley. His 10 years working in Asia enable him to pinpoint HR strategy and direction for our clients, especially regarding expansion. James is a natural-born leader with high ethics, and we deeply appreciate his role on our team. A new addition to the team, Mickey Bock, comes to VF&Co as Director of Operations. Mickey has over 20 years of executive-level management and consulting experience with an emphasis in software, financial management, and best practices management development consulting. Mickey brings with her an unparalleled combination of professional know-how and operations efficiency. She is well known and loved in the TEC CEO community where she ran a consulting firm with her husband, John Bock, for over 10 years, providing executive coaching and training to over 150 CEOs and senior executives.
Josh Jackson, a graduate of the Leavey School of Business at Santa Clara University, joins as the primary business development and public relations contact at the firm. He partners with the senior leadership team on client services projects, and manages the marketing communications and public relations programs. Josh comes to VF&Co from Gap, Inc., where he worked in Employee Relations and Merchandizing.
Bryan Power, Director of Client Services, is a four-year VF&Co veteran who has watched the organization evolve with varying economic conditions observes, "Silicon Valley has gone through some heart-wrenching ups and downs in the last four years and yet, we are thrilled that our personal and collective corporate mission has guided us in our success to make a unique difference in the careers of a wide range of executives and professionals.
